DragonHawaiiShirt.com has learnt that Democratic U.S. Representative Maxine Waters has expressed concern about reports that fans of Donald Trump are preparing a violent coup in the event that the likely Republican nominee for president in 2024 loses the forthcoming election.
During her appearance as a guest on MSNBC’s The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart, the California representative was asked if she thought Trump was sincere when he told The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel last week that he would accept the election’s outcome.
“Well, first of all, you can’t trust anything that Donald Trump has to say,” Waters answered. If Trump is not reelected, she said, “he’s going to say that it was fraud.”
She went on, “We have to be extremely worried about a former US president talking about assaulting his own nation, talking about maybe a blood bath. He still hasn’t come to terms with what occurred in the previous presidential election. speculating about possible difficulties ahead.”
Waters declared, “We should take him seriously.” “This man doesn’t think the Constitution is true. He want to be the ruler.”

The congresswoman appeared as a guest on MSNBC Sunday.
Capehart drew attention to Trump’s recent statement in a Time interview that, should he win, he will adhere to the constitution’s term restrictions.
“Trump says in that Time interview that he would not seek to overturn or ignore the Constitution’s prohibition on a third term,” he stated. “Should the people of America accept that? Do you really think that?
Not at all. Without a doubt not,” Waters firmly retorted. You won’t trust a word Donald Trump says, as I’ve said. There is nothing that Donald Trump won’t try to get away with. He has zero tolerance for the United States of America Constitution. This is a someone with whom we should exercise caution.”

Waters insisted that Trump would not concede to an election loss, and worried about the potential consequences.
She continued by highlighting the requirement that the people be informed about “what our country is going to do to protect us from [Trump].”
She said, “And I tell you what I’m going to do.” “I’m going to ask the Justice Department and I’m going to ask the president to tell us what they are going to do to protect this country against violence if he loses.”

Trump said in a recent interview with Time that he would abide by the Constitution’s presidential term limits if elected.
“I want to know about all of those right-wing organizations that he’s connected with who are training up in the hills somewhere and targeting, you know, what communities they’re going to attack,” Waters threatened. “We need to know now — given that he’s telling us that there’s going to be violence if he loses — we need to know what his plan is and how we’re going to be protected.”
Rep. Robert Garcia, a California congressman, concurred with Waters’ position during his appearance on Sunday’s MSNBC program.
“The congresswoman is right on everything,” he informed Capehart. “Let’s be really clear and not make any mistakes. Without a doubt, Donald Trump would attempt to serve a second term in office if reelected.”
“He will destroy this country, our democracy, he’ll change the way we run elections, he’ll attack secretaries of state, and he’ll do everything he can in his power to stay in office,” Garcia added.
“We shall no longer have the nation that we know today. It’s frightening and depressing, but we must treat it seriously.”
